What Readivize actually is.
What is Readivize, in one paragraph?
A worksheet builder for K-12 teachers. You drop problem blocks onto a grid, type your own content into them, and download a PDF that prints exactly the way it looked on screen. AI is part of the workflow to speed the build up, but the editor is the product and you are the one driving.
How does the block builder actually work?
Think of it like digital building blocks for paper. You drag ready-made problem blocks (multiple choice, matching, reading passages, and more) onto a grid, resize them, edit the text, and swap out images. The grid keeps everything aligned so it looks perfect when you hit print.
Is this just ChatGPT shoved into a worksheet template?
Nope. ChatGPT is a chatbot; Readivize is a layout and design tool. You build the exact structure you want on our grid, pull from the community, and only bring in AI to generate specific questions or fill gaps when you need a hand. You are always the one driving.
Who is it for?
K-12 teachers who make their own materials. It is built around the problem types you actually assign rather than being a general design tool, so your evening goes on the questions instead of on nudging text boxes back into line.
Do I need to be technical to use it?
No. If you can drag a box and type in it, you can use Readivize. The grid handles the alignment for you, which is the part that usually eats the evening, and nothing is hidden behind a settings menu you have to learn first.
What if AI is not my thing?
Then ignore it. The editor works completely without it: all 11 problem types, the question bank, the images and stickers, the answer key, and the PDF. The AI is one button, and skipping it costs you nothing except the drafting shortcut.
The closed beta

Can I use it right now?
Readivize is currently in closed beta, and we are taking teachers right now. Join the waitlist to get early access. No credit card needed.
What does closed beta actually mean?
It is in heavy development. Usable today, and teachers are building real worksheets with it, but things are changing rapidly and it is not ready for open use. It is also not in a state where we would feel right charging teachers for it. We would rather take the time and put out something genuinely high quality.
When do I get in?
We cannot give you a date, and we would rather say so than make one up. We open access in small groups so we can actually talk to the teachers using it, and the size of the next group depends on what the last one found. Join the waitlist and we will be in touch as we open the next one. If you want a rough sense of where things stand, email us and ask.
Will my worksheets survive the beta?
Yes. Beta worksheets live in your account like any other, and we are not planning a reset that throws them away. What will keep changing is the editor around them.
What it costs
Money, honestly.
What will it cost?
We have not set pricing yet, and we are not going to invent a number to fill a page. What we can promise is that waitlist teachers keep early pricing when we do start charging, and that the beta is free for the teachers in it. The longer version is on the pricing page.
Why does the AI run on a credit system?
Because we pay for the best AI models available, not the cheap ones. Premium models mean accurate, grade-appropriate questions on the first try instead of spending 20 minutes arguing with a chatbot to fix its mistakes. Credits keep our costs tied only to what you actually use.
Do I need a credit card to join the waitlist?
No. Joining takes an email address. There is no card to enter, no trial clock counting down, and nothing to cancel later.
Your data
Yours, and your students'.
Do I need to sync my student rosters to use this?
No, and honestly, please don't. Readivize is built purely for creating your materials, so you never need to import rosters, gradebooks, or any student data, and there is no district IT approval just to jump in and build. Please keep student data out of it entirely: no names, no student IDs, no grades, nothing identifying, whether in a worksheet or an AI prompt. Keep it about the content, never the students.
Is my own data safe?
Your worksheets are private to your account. No other teacher can open them, and they cannot be reached by guessing a URL. A question you write stays private too, unless you deliberately choose to contribute it to the shared bank, and even then it is screened for safety before anyone else can see it. What we collect and why is written out in the privacy policy.
Using it
The practical questions.
Can I share a worksheet with another teacher?
Not yet. There is no share link and no co-editing today; a worksheet belongs to the account that made it. What you can share is a question, by contributing it to the shared bank, where it gets screened before it reaches anyone else.
Does it connect to Google Classroom or my LMS?
No. Readivize makes printable materials and nothing else right now: no integrations, no roster sync, no digital assignments, no grading. That is also why you can start using it without asking your district's IT department for anything.
What can I get out of it besides a PDF?
Nothing, deliberately. A worksheet PDF and a separate answer key PDF are the two things Readivize produces, and they are built to print accurately rather than to be re-edited somewhere else. There is no export to a word processor or a slide deck.
How do I get help?
Email us. There is no form and no ticket robot, just an address on the contact page, read by the people building this. If you are already in the beta, the Support bubble inside the app is faster, because it attaches a screenshot of whatever you were looking at.
